MRAF was a great success!!!!
The preliminary round for the 4th annual Milwaukee Regional Art Fair was held at Wisconsin Career Academy on Saturday, March 20. Each of the past four years, the interest in our show has grown, and this year we had 27 schools participate in our growing event. Over 400 pieces of art were submitted for the preliminary round, and only 42 were selected to be displayed at the final show at UW-Milwaukee in April.
I would like to thank all of the participating schools, teacher, and students for their hard work and dedication. I would also like to thank our volunteer judges, who had the difficult task of selecting the final pieces, and all of our volunteers from Wisconsin Career Academy. Seeing this show grow over the past four years gives me a sense of pride, and the show would not be possible without all the hard working teacher, judges, and volunteers who consistently give their time to this event.
Also, congratulations to Karem Soto-Albino and Guadalupe Sanchez. Their collaborative drawing was selected to represent Wisconsin Career Academy at the final MRAF show.
