WCA Wolves: Girl’s Volleyball Team

Wisconsin Career Academy’s girls volleyball team participates in the Boy’s and Girl’s Club volleyball league with eight other charter schools in the Milwaukee area.  It’s a great way for the girls to compete against other teams, build team unity and become more responsible individuals.  I have been coaching volleyball at WCA for seven years now and feel commitment, discipline and teamwork are necessary components in having a successful program. I push the girls to be their best and offer support and encouragement along the way.  In 2006, the girls took 3^rd place and in 2007, they earned 2^nd place.  In both 2008 and 2009, our team placed 1^st overall.  We are currently in playoffs and won the first round against Veritas high school. I am very proud to be a part of this program and look forward to many successes in the years to come.
